We are looking for 2 x Vehicle Technicians to join our existing small and close-knit team here at Oxford German Cars based in Carterton, Oxfordshire.

Our ambition is for them to become a long-term, integral part of our business. We are a small, independent Company that specialise in the sale of older German vehicles; primarily BMW's 1990-2010.

A sharp eye for detail and excellent organisational skills are essential to ensure our vehicles are prepared to the highest of standards.

 

Main duties will include:

• Vehicle Inspections

• Mechanical Preparation of Vehicles

• Diagnosing issues and subsequent rectification

• Software Updates

• General Maintenance and Up-Keep of Workshop

• Liaising with the Sales Team / Management

​

Occasionally communication with customers may be required though the vast majority of your time will be spent purely within the Workshop.

We want someone who is confident, experienced and passionate about our business in the same way as we are! We are very much a small, close-knit team and do not have the same 'red tape' feel as a larger business. Experience working on Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen's would be an advantage and a well-grounded knowledge of Mechanical and Computer-based Diagnostics essential.

Professional Qualifications to Technician Levels 1, 2 and 3 will be required as well as a Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points. You would also be responsible for supplying your own Tooling to work on cars however Diagnostic Machines and more major equipment in place.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years experience working within a Garage. Experience working on Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen's would be an advantage and a well-grounded knowledge of Mechanical and Computer-based Diagnostics essential.
